                                                  AN UPDATE ON DONATION TO

CHUN SHEA GOLD ANNIV SCHOLARSHIP PLAN

 

 

                  As of this date, we have received a total of HKD 511,411- donations from classmates. This includes HKD 80,000 from Chao Sze Tsung (4 years of 20,000 each year to one student, payable yearly) Tai Ho Keung (at least 10 years of HKD 5000 each year = HKD 50,000, payable yearly) and Chiu Lin (HKD 50,000. already presented to Pui Ching Prim School, in the name of Chun Shea and Lin).

 

                  In other words, we have available for use for the 5 new awards and 2 existing awards a fund of HKD 381,000  (Total minus Lin minus Chao). At an annual return of 5%,  the fund will produce HKD 1900.  Roughly, the fund will deplete in about 25 years.

 

Is that good enough? Perhaps.

 

Would it be much better still if we can make it a Perpetual Scholarship Fund? 

 

I think we can do it with classmate’s support and enthusiastic thinking.

 

May I suggest that Classmates continue to donate, to meeting a target say HKD 700,000. Lets think about this at Registration Time and Anniv Big Day time.
