PCCS Golden Anniversary Scholarship Plan

 

Name of the Plan:                   1955 Class Chung Shea Scholarship Plan

Purpose of the Plan:

            1,         To establish a long living memory of our 1955 class of Chung Shea.

            2,         To promote students of Pui Ching in the pursuit of academic excellence in art, literature and science.

            3,         To encourage students of Pui Ching doing voluntary services for the Pui Ching Community, or for fellow students.

           

Plan life span:             Perpetual or at least 20 – 30 years until fund depletion.

Fund Raising Target: HKD 500,000. to HKD 700,000.

 

The award:                  Total 5 scholarship awards of HKD 3,000 each, every year.

2 awards for Best Student in Both Academic and Character in Middle 5 class. One for science stream, one for arts stream.

2 awards for Best Student in Both Academic and Character in Middle 7 class. One for science stream, one for arts stream.

(If no student in science (or arts) stream in a Mid 5 class qualifies, the award may be used for the Arts (or Science) stream of the Mid 5 class. It applies to Middle 7 class).

1 award for Best Student in Service to Pui Ching activities or fellow students.

                                   

Note:               The two existing Scholarship awards will continue as they are now and to be funded by this plan:

                                    1 award Kwan Chun Yin Scholarship (existing) at HK$ 500 per year, to continue, no change

                                    1 award Cheung Kai Tin Scholarship (existing) at HK$ 500 per year, to continue, no change.
